A Small Family With Big Size at Khaolak Elephant Home


Experience a heartwarming meet with elephants near the beach. Get to know what they like to do and their routine, as well as participate in helping the staff taking care of them.



Khaolak Elephant Home isn't just a place where these elephants live, it's where they are taken care of and connect with both their animal family and humans. Even though they are from diferrent backgrounds: some were rescued and some were transferred, they make their new home here. Each of them has a unique personality and features, just like other living creatures.

Visitors will get to learn their names and stories and spend some times with them by feeding fresh fruits and milk or taking them to go bathing and scrubing the mud off their skin. Just by following a simple routine, you can closely learn more about elephants and bond with them.



This attraction is open daily from 8:30 AM - 4 PM. There are many programs for you to select according to your preference.


Feeding program

  1. 300THB/person + a fruit basket

  2. 500THB/person + a fruit and milk basket

  3. 200THB/person + a small fruit basket (Children between 4-13 years old)


Bathing program

  1. 1,500THB/person + 2 fruit baskets and family photos (Adult)

  2. 900THB/person + 2 fruit baskets and family photos (Child)



The elephant home is located near Memories Beach, therefore, it's very convenient to do other activities in just one place because there are restaurant, bar, and surf school around this area. Thus, it's such a great opportunity to spend your time and get some wonderful experience here so that “Memories" becomes one of your meaningful memories.
