"Fan Chan" New Version of Children's Day in Takua Pa Old Town at 78 Studio

Children's day is't just a day for kids, but for everyone who used to be a kid.

This 10-11 January 2026 from 9AM to 3 PM, there's an event on occasion of Children's day at Takua Pa Walking Street hosted by 78 studio. With the concept of Fan Chan, a film of most people's childhood, it's inclusive to both kids and their parents who take them to participate this special event with friends.



78 studio was founded by 9 artists* who have the same vision, which is to present the beauty of art in every aspects because every artists have their own uniqueness and there's no right or wrong way to make art. So Fan Chan is the result of their ideas and it's also the first event that they organize.

The studio exhibits the art of little artists, who have such an extraordinary sense in each one, as well as artists who used to be kids and now they became parents.



Many activities are various to be selected as how and what the kids like. Whether it's drawing and painting on a big canvas, making shapes of some play dough, or answering questions to get the prize. Moreover, they offer ice cream and typical red sweet drink from Hale's Blueboy syrup.



The atmosphere keeps vibes of nostalgia by the toys and snacks from children, bringing memories of the old days into the air. However, another highlight like photobooth captures the sense of present day, but also maintains the past by the hand-drawn portraits.

This remarks a fresh start for Takua Pa today's generation, where its people come together and try to put efforts to adapt in the modern society.



Thanks to 78 studio and Baanbai who invited us, Memories Surfhouse, to join and be a small part that share some stationery with kids and witness the fun, which sparks the youth in one's heart.

78 studio is located around Juti Boonsoong's Company, a famous mining company in Phang Nga. The Boonsoong family has many businesses and contributes to develop education and public health all over the town. Moreover, where Memories Surfhouse is situated now is also the area of the clan. This shows the connection between towns in Phang Nga province: Takua Pa and Khaolak, and presents that people cooperate as a community to create something bigger for everyone.
