Board Rental at Memories Surfhouse



Other than surf lessons, we also provide surfboard rental service for people who'd like to surf on their own or with friends without the need of instructors.


Opening Time

The shop is open 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM

*Notice* We offer the last rental session during 5:00 - 6:00 PM. Customers are kindly requested to return all equipment by 6:00 - 6:15 PM. A late return fee costs 200THB/item.


Types of Surfboards

  1. Soft-board or Soft Top (200THB/hr : extra 100THB/hr)

    Its exterior is made of soft material, so it's safe and suits for beginner surfers. It has more stability, but less mobility.



  2. Hardboard or Hard Top (200THB/hr : extra 100THB/hr)

    - Longboard

    It's best for the beginner who has some experience and understands the basic of how to stand on the board, turn, paddle, and catch the wave.



    - Mid length or Funboard

    Its characteristics are between longboard and shortboard. It's good for catching almost all types of wave, but it's recommended for mid-length wave.

    - Shortboard

    Mostly, it's used to catch the high wave. With high flexibility and easiness of direction change, it's more suitable for surfers with a lot of experiences.



  3. Bodyboard (100THB/hr : extra 50THB/hr)

    You can lay down on the board and float with the flow of waves.



  4. Skimboard (100THB/hr : extra 50THB/hr)

    It's used for riding on shallow water like at the front of the beach.



  5. SUP Board or Standup Paddle Board (300THB/hr : extra 150THB/hr)

    It's used with paddle. No wave is needed in order because you can paddle out to the ocean like a canoe to chill and relax.



Which one is for the beginner?

Soft-board is the best for a beginner to surfing. You can ask our staff to choose the board size according to your height for the most effective and suitable one.
